Gurasa Recipe (Traditional Hausa Flatbread) Gurasa is a popular flatbread from Northern Nigeria, often compared to naan or pita bread. It’s soft, slightly chewy, and perfect as a standalone snack or served with soups and stews. Ingredients: 2 cups all-purpose flour 1 tsp sugar ½ tsp salt 1 tsp instant yeast ¾ cup warm water 2 tbsp vegetable oil or melted butter Instructions: Activate the Yeast : In a small bowl, combine warm water and sugar, then sprinkle in the yeast.
