Creamy Garlic Parmesan Chicken Pasta. It's rich, flavorful, and perfect for a cozy meal.
Ingredients:
- 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 8 oz. pasta (fettuccine or penne works well)
- Fresh parsley, chopped (optional, for garnish)
Instructions:
Season the Chicken:
- Season the chicken breasts with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning on both sides.
Cook the Chicken:
- Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Add the chicken breasts and cook for about 6-7 minutes per side, until fully cooked and golden brown. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.
Cook the Pasta:
- While the chicken is cooking, bring a pot of salted water to a boil and cook the pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
Prepare the Sauce:
- In the same skillet where you cooked the chicken, add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
- Pour in the chicken broth and heavy cream. Stir and let it simmer for about 5 minutes, allowing the sauce to thicken slightly.
Add the Parmesan:
- Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese until the sauce becomes creamy and smooth. If the sauce is too thick, you can add a little more chicken broth or cream to reach your desired consistency.
Combine:
- Slice the cooked chicken breasts into strips and return them to the skillet. Add the cooked pasta as well.
- Toss everything together until the chicken and pasta are well-coated with the sauce.
Serve:
- Garnish with fresh parsley if desired, and serve hot.
Enjoy this creamy, garlicky, and cheesy dish that's sure to be a hit!
